Usher Board Ministry

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

Ministry Purpose

The purpose of the usher is that of doorkeeper and assistant to the Pastor. The usher sets the mood of the worshippers as they enter the house of the Lord. They must be kind and courteous to all. They also assist the Pastor in keeping good order and discipline in the house of God during the service.

Missions & Activities

Be on time, in proper uniform, at post during time of duty;
Participate in regular meetings and attend training sessions; and
Be available to serve at funerals, revivals, and other church functions.
